Spring, 1899. A small boat drifts slowly down the Rock River toward downtown Rockford. William Talcott suddenly rises from his seat and points toward the gently rolling hills bordering the west bank of the river. “There, my friends, is the ideal place for our club. There’s nothing like it.” We think you’ll agree.

While RCC’s exceptional golf course is  the centerpiece of a day’s activities, a wealth of other activities are available for family and friends. Summers are a time of maximum enjoyment.  Start your day with a game of tennis or pickleball, followed by a refreshing dip in the Olympic size pool. By now you’ve worked up an appetite;  enjoy a candlelight dinner under the stars on our spectacular deck. You’ve earned it!
